  • About ISRO 
ISRO is the national space agency of India. Headquartered in Bangalore. It operates under the department of space ( DOS ) which is directly overseen by prime minister of India. While the chairman of ISRO acts as executive of DOS as well. ISRO is India's primary agency for performing task related to space based applications, space explorations and the development of related technologies.It is one of six government agencies in the world which possess full launch capabilities, deploy cryogenic engines, launch extraterrestrial missions and operats large fleet of artificial satellites.

  • ACHIEVEMENTS OF ISRO

1) ISRO built India's first satellite ARYABHATTA which was launched by Soviet union on 1975.
2) In 1980 ISRO launched satellite RS-I onboard it's owen SLV-3 making India the seventh country to be capable of undertaking orbital launches.
3) SLV-3 was followed by ASLV, which was subsequently succeeded by development of many madiam lift launch vehicles, rocket engenes, satellite systems and networks.
4) ISRO has the world's largest constellation of remote sensing satellites and operates the GAGAN and NAVIC satellite navigation systems.
5) ISRO has sent two missions to the moon and one to the Mars.

4) development of semi cryogenic engines
5) sending more uncrewed missions to moon, Mars , Venus, Neptune and sun.
6) development of more space telescope in orbit to observe cosmic phenomenon and outer space beyond the solar system.

1) Development of reusable launchers, heavy and super heavy launch vehicles
2) Deploying a space station  
3) sending exploration missions to external planets like Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune
4) sending crewed missions to moons and planets.
